I'd honestly go with a 6x6 or 645 ILC SLR with a lens that's 50mm-80mm equiv. over any Fuji MF rangefinder for portraits (Mamiya M645, Bronica ETRS, Pentax 645, Bronica EC, Broncia SQ). If you really wanna go Fuji rangefinder get a GS645 it's got a 75mm F/3.4 (46.5mm equiv.) lens it also focuses to 1 meter like the GW690. It's small and light like the GA645 and it's got a built in lightmeter which the GW690 doesn't.
