It’s not an effective use of the medium, doesn’t tell a story, doesn’t have a greater context, it’s just a student’s attempt at capturing fundamentals of form.
I’m not trying to be a dick, my high school albums have shit all like this. I would just like to see more of a self challenge. These poles appear to be erected for no reason. We have no idea why the area around them would support them being erected. All we get is a blue sky. Small scale community infrastructure is everyone’s babbys first composition, break out of it. You can still isolate a subject and have more context and depth to a scene.
