Hi /p/, I recently developed an interest in photography and exploring the most dusty place of my house while tidying and cleaning everything up i found my dad's old Canon A-1 (pic rel not actually the one i found, but the same model) and i loved it when i was a kid. The main concern i have is that it possibly may need repair or just proper maintenance before getting it to shot again, like cleaning it or replacing some battery (from wikipedia: The A-1 is battery-powered (one 4LR44 or PX-28) ) .So, here's the question: i wanted to ask you guys how fucked am i if i start with the a-1, without having any knowledge at all. Do you have any tips on how to clean the camera or how to learn and get into photography and films? Actually i'm learning with Marc Levoy's Lectures on Digital Photography on yt, and i know it says "Digital Photography" but still i need basis and, he teaches basic photography too.
