I own a Lomography Instant Wide, a Polaroid /p/ 600 and an SX-70 Sonar. I've run boxes of shots through them. Other than developing faster Instax shots are sterile and shitty compared to Polaroid. I know that from experience but there's loads of comparisons out there if you care to look.
Also the Polaroid size is ideal. Instax Mini is too small, Square is awkward, and Wide is only useful for some shots. Polaroid is in the middle of all of it and looks best with the classic frame.
