Like shit, when I first started I owned a rebel like anyone else, then I thought I needed full frame but I took a leap and went for a Fuji XE2, it was used but it fitted my needs perfectly, and thats what should count, that it meets the requirements that you need while shooting, since firmware 4.0 this camera has been everything I need it to be and more.
I've shot 5d mkiii's, L lenses, Nikon full frames, Sonys, 120, 35mm and at the end of the day I literally don't care what I'm using, you're using or what your nan uses, aslong as you know how to use it it's going to produce decent pictures.
My favourite camera that I've used to date is an Oly XA2, because it cost 2 quid which means I don't give a shit about taking it everywhere with me. it's always near me whether my digital is or not.
