It's no compact Fuji but it's not huge or bulky and IQ is great. Can be found used for under 500 bucks, has in body stabilization, and if you go for the K-3 II it has pixel shift for greater detail in landscapes. Fully weather sealed, 2 SD card slots, and unless you shoot exclusively in live view with stabilization on and use the pop up flash, you're not going to run through the battery even over the course of a long weekend. The Limited primes are great, and you can pick up the 18-55 and 55-300mm kit lenses for like 300 combined, both of which are weather sealed as well.
