You can only use teleconverters with Sony lenses, and due to no one licensing them it looks like no one else will allowed to make their own. The 200-600 looks like it works real well with the TCs, but then at the extra cost and potentially worse AF in lower light, it may be better to pick up an A7rIV and crop the image instead, as you’ll need higher ISO with a TC, unless it fully resolved the sensor on the rIV somehow with a TC. Not sure about the AF eye tracking for birds on rIV you’d have to look into that. But I’m enjoying my setup so far.
