Most board members would say my work isn't really photography and imply I'm cheating, despite using all the tools they would and making something far more interesting and better looking. One of my favourite artists - Sonja Braas - creates work that wipes the floor of almost everyone here, if only people realised how staged they are. All the silly landscape buffs would be chimping out at how much better their boring 'seen it all before' shots are because they're authentic.
Photography is at it's most creative and based when it is disingenuous and challenging this principal of the medium.
