>>4187771It's sheisthefight on IG.
Haven't looked through it again but remember that bird spamming anon having an aneurysm. I quite like getting negative feedback desu, bit in a trolling way but it definitely keeps me grounded as people tend to blow smoke up your arse if you do anything creative. I went through a phase of joining facebook boomer photography groups and posting there just to fuel the conversation, embrace the ire and see how the rifts played out between "I like it" and "that's immoral shit" members of the groups. I'd inevitably get banned after a week or so just due to the mods getting wound up about the dissent and arguing. Think I've always taken an insult better than a compliment.
I tend to present my work somewhat anonymously but I get mixed reviews from people in real life. A few wannabe white knights who can't comprehend a woman having an active role in the photo making. Most people I speak to are into it or want to chat about it or simply don't care. For example my mum likes some of it, my mother in law likes some and hates others laughs at some. My friends are generally into it apart from one Japanese girl friend of mine who says it makes her feel sick that it's me making those photos. Kek.
>>4187774I wouldn't actively display my work to provoke or upset someone I knew didn't like it. I'm open about my photography though to friends and peers etc. I'm of mixed faith, part of that is Christian. I've got friends from all sorts of backgrounds though and had nothing but positive or ambivalent response from most of them. I have quite a lot of Christian friends, Protestant, Catholic and a lot of Coptic and I don't think that interrelates with how they think of my work.
>inb4 "not real Christians because they're just not OK">>4187824Literally so funny. I'm going to use that quote in a publication or show or something, kek.
