As someone getting back into takin snapshits or whatever, I bought the a6000 and I like it way more than the old crop DSLR I had years ago. It's sturdy I've taken it out in the rain works good for a lot of different applications. Autofocus could be better but focus peaking in manual can help if you dig around and optimize it to your liking. $400 new with the kit lens isn't bad, it's a very small package and easy to carry around, battery life sucks but I think that's just a mirrorless thing. Here's an example I took on my kit lens.
