>>3609758I think these guys are actually doing it on reels in the back, I don't believe this lab has a minilab. The gradient is across the entire negative, I asked for the roll uncut. These pictures are from a Pentax 67ii fresh back from a CLA (I think this is the 4th roll shot with it since then). The other 2 rolls I had developed came out perfectly, so I think they were done separately and not in a full batch together.
Here's the main reason why I'm thinking the guy had some issues with loading. This is at the end of the roll, and I think those are some reel loading marks. I just realized I took the picture with some plastic underneath it that makes the in-frame area look discolored, but the actual marks on the negative are the darker bits along the rebate and the blank section of film at the end.
