>>4169821>Your "central point" is that you can add shit to it to make it ergonomically friendly. For some people. Not most people. Most people hold the camera up less than they carry it around, even professionals. The exception being photojournalism and sports/event photography.
I am saying that a large camera is not ergonomic if you are not using large accessories. It isn't. Full stop. The ideal everyday camera doesn't have ANY grip at all, because it doesn't need it, and the size adds weight and bulk to bounce around on a strap, take up more space in a bag, and bump against shit as you walk around. A larger camera is less convenient and comfortable all around because the norm for camera usage is to walk around considering and setting up shots 100x more often than you are holding the camera up to finally take one unless you are in a distinct minority of snapshitters who are machine gunning the shutter for hours on end to make sure they don't miss a shot of trump making a funny face.
>I don't think people want the shitty Lenovo chiclet keyboards eitherPeople do. People pay out the ass for shitty chiclet keyboards. Because if your use case is carrying the laptop more often than using it, and using the touchpad as often or more often than the keyboard, keyboard comfort isn't an ergonomic priority. But bulk is.
So read this post again, and again until you get it
>>4169819The situation:
You can buy a large canikon for using large accessories and holding the camera up to your face without rest for extended periods, or a smaller sony/fuji/leica for using smal accessories and normal shooting, and if you do the latter but buy a large accessory later or change your shooting habits, it is easy to adapt the camera to your new use case because small items can be made larger.
Your non-stop tantrum:
ANY CAMERA THAT ISNT PERFECT FOR MY PURPOSES SPECIFICALLY IS BADLY DESIGNED! BABY WANT TO BE CENTER OF WORLD!
