Should Ken Rockwell's reviews be trusted? Some of his example photos where he talks about "nice image quality" occasionally look like shit to me. It could also be that I'm expecting too much from cameras.
Here's an example of his that I cropped in half for the sake of image restrictions.

At full size, this image doesn't impress me at all. The image quality of his shots with his A9 at full size don't impress me either. Am I expecting far too much clarity out of cameras or is he not doing it right/using shit lenses?
