the best "budget" zoom lens upgrade w would be the 18-105 or the newer 18-135 as mentioned previously.

a better bet would be to get a set of manual primes/ 3rd party sellers Neweer and Meike have a great set of budget primes for the E-mount and you can actually get a full set for under $400
