She took three steps, turned and shot directly into the sun and poof. Balanced composition, nice interesting foreground, all the makings of *the shot* of the trip, and I didn't see it.
If I could replay that moment, I'd stand in that spot, turn 2 degrees to the left, wait a few minutes to catch the light spilling down onto the rocks, and bracket.
You really need to get to know a place to capture it faithfully, and I don't feel like I spent enough time there.
