>>3233403Idk if this will be helpful but I have two Konica A4's (BM-101). It's such a beautiful camera and it feels premium too.
I bought the first one for 1000ish yen and when it arrived the ribbon cable to the controls was broken (the controls are on the back of the camera where the quartz date is) so it's stuck in complete Automatic mode and I can't see the frame counter.
Didn't think much about it since it was really cheap so I bought the another one for like 5000yen and it was in better condition, and it actually worked. Well until I took a shot with the flash, the back display glitched and I heard the camera rewind the film (I was on around shot 13) then the frame counter went back to 0. I thought something might of jammed and the film got rewound or something so I opened the back and the film wasn't rewound so it got exposed.Mind you this one was pretty much mint in box as well.
So I'm stuck with one that's in complete automatic mode which i can't see the frame counter and one that I can only use without the flash.
I did some research and found out a lot of fully electronic point and shoots have problems overtime where they just stop working and there's not really an easy way to fix them since it's got to do with the electronics.
