>>3583255The resolution was ok. I remember I was using ISO 200 film because that was out of my comfort zone. Usually I stuck to 800, but macro needed less grain. The main issue was trying not to waste film. Starting with film made me very conservative with shooting, and that carried over to digital out of habit. Wildlife is risky with film, and macro is even worse outside of a studio setting.
I have a bunch of old film shots but need to find and scan them. I'll get around to it eventually. Here's one I found recently, from 1999. Same spot I shot the water striders, actually.
