I do a lot of concert photography so I'm used to my sensor getting blown out on the blues, dealing with super low light, etc, but in this case it somehow worked out. the skin tones came out very nicely considering 100% of the light was either blue or red.
here it is OOC compared to final, along with my basic color processing. did some gentle adjustments to the color calibration (5D Mk2, 2012 process, Camera Landscape) to shift the blues and reds a smidge, but probably nothing you'd notice without a before and after. no split toning.
