645 is 56x42mm and current "medium format digital" is 43.8x32.9mm.
That's a big fucking difference, especially when you consider things such as crop factor and lens compatibility. Medium digital is a meme.
56x42mm digital would be amazing on mirrorless though. The silicon wafer jews won't allow it for consumers though, unfortunately.
Just look at the size differences.
Green in middle = 35mm
Orange = "Medium format digital"
Yellow = Medium format 645, smallest film.
Dark green = Medium format 6x9, large but not largest medium format.
Outer green = 4x5 Large Format.
Orange faggot sensors are CRINGE. They're closer to 35mm than 645. Calling them medium is just wrong.
