i know it's a terrible idea to come to /p/ and say that photography for the enjoyment alone is a worthwhile thing to do, but hey whatever. maybe its because my artistic business is in another field, but sometimes, and get this- the fun you have doing something makes it worthwhile even if it's not perfect.
