I shot some jewelry pictures for a client. I've never done product photography before. The pictures came out decently, but I'm having trouble editing them. The client wants a high key white background look, but I can't seem to achieve this look. It's my fault for not having even lighting, but I'm trying to fix it. is it possible to select a range of contiguous white colors and replace them with white? I also want to do some like sharpness and contrast to the jewelry itself, how can I select it?
I've tried using the replace color tool but it selects whites in the jewelry too.
I tried selecting the jewelry using the magnetic lasso tool but it didn't work well on the chain.
