It has nothing to do with skin color, because there are many iconic photos from Nat Geo of people that aren't white, infact, I would argue that there aren't really any iconic photos from nat geo that are of white people. I'm saying that it's blatantly obvious which image are there on merit and which are not. And further more, they decided to place the pure shit photos that are pushing an agenda to the top! Almost all of the photos at the top of the page are pure shit, and the good ones are at the bottom. Why???
