I received my voightlander 23mm f/1.2. the aperture and focusing feel insanely high quality. I think the focus throw is just fine you have a lot of room to dial in close focusing, 1 meter or farther is really short and quick. it's very easy to nail focus with focus peaking if you take the focusing ring to Infinity first and then edge in slowly. ironically I bought this to zone focus at f/8 and f/11. i will report results, but from my testing the DOF scale on the lens body is pretty optimistic as some others have complained. it gets you focus that is probably good enough for web page/Instagram use. if you already know how to focus this particular focal length then it won't make much of a difference to you because you know where to set the distance.
