I can deal with its softness, but the shift in colour is really annoying, especially far away from the centre of the image. What is this optical phenomenon called? Is there any way to fix it in software?
I use DigiKam for developing raw photos and applying corrections, but AFAIK it only supports optical corrections for modern Pentax K-mount lenses, such as the 18-55 mm kit lens I have.
