Tell me what to use for an 80-200mm f/2.8, both on apsc and fool fraem.
I recently acquired a lot of gear stuff and this lens was included along other lenses and old AF bodies (
>>2670625 kek) at a retarded price for the purpose to sell the stuff.
But.
I'm fiddling with this lens and I'm starting to love it, so I may change my mind for this lens; although for my general use it overlaps with my superb 180mm f/2.8 which I will never get rid of, it's just too lightweight for what it is (especially after handling the 80-200, which is even a bit lighter than my 300mm f/4 and yet more of a burden on your wrists and general handling...), too high quality and snappy despite being AF (especially compared to the 80-200).
I'm also appreciating the push pull thingy, I find it even better than the screw-type of the nowadays zooms for non-tripod stuff (You know, going around and zoom in and out fast and instinctively). Not that I ever kept a zoom more than a week as I generally use primes in a lightweight kit which changes depending on what I'm gonna shoot.
So tell me, how should I masturbate with this lens before deciding to resell it or keeping it?
