you can act like the lighting is 100% of the photo all you want but you can be bitter all you want as well. here's a photo from the other paper that covered the manson show I was at recently
p.s.- assuming that I haven't shot a show without a lighting budget is hilarious. I started in bar and house shows and that's how I initially built a portfolio. if you wanna come to the nearest venue and tell the light guy to turn his shit down to prove my skill then sure. otherwise, I'm just gonna do my thing and you can continue being resentful for no reason.
