Do any of you have any experience with using XLR adaptors like the Panasonic DMW-XLR1?
It's compatible with the GH5, GH5S, BGH1 and the S1H - it allows for 2 XLR inputs.
The reason I bring this up is that I've been asked a bunch of questions to do with recording music performances in places that are less than conventional for various reasons.
Considering how the best results would seem to be positioning instrument microphones in two locations either side of a piano or instrument player, then if you were recording a performance, having that sound input would be key.
But idk if something like that would be "worth it", and I'm not even sure how many people have experience using something like this. I'd guess most people make use of either a shotgun mic or a Rode Wireless GO plugged into a 3.5mm jack. This is good for more like YouTube/TV grade content, but then you're back to the limitations of a microphone not really intended for picking up the sounds from an instrument.
Do you just need to obtain a sound engineer?
