>>4052557>feels a bit chokedI feel the same but the subjects are way in the middle and in the extremes, at least with that crop the dog looking at the right side makes the viewer go look at the paintings on the ground while the smoking dude makes a mirror center with the black coated couple, that would be the center point, the laughing foreign couple is too far on the side in both crops so might as well leave it there.
The building windows and patterns are indeed choked but it makes the crooked street line the center too, i wanted to give more space to the buildings but that would make for a 4:3 crop which was my initial intention but might as well preserve the 3:2. Also people are borderline retarded in their impatience, one usually has to cram the picture with subjects because the context is only looked by seasoned or advanced enthusiasts of the hobby; if that's your intention then go for it, i do too, but many will not appreciate it.
