>>3998525I'm glad you like them Anon, thanks!
I had three cameras I used regularly, my Nikon F3 with a 50 1.4 and a 28 2.8, a Canonet QL17 GIII (40 1.7), and a Rollei 35 SE (40 2.8) to stick in my coat pocket at night
I never took two cameras out at the same time, and I feel like I could have done 90% of the work with the Canonet, so a 35mm lens would be good if you're comfortable with that focal length.
I'm partial to a 50 + a 28/24 in my bag for when I need a bit more FOV. So, sounds like both cameras would work, but I'd take another lens either way, since there are situations in which you're probably going to want something other than the 35 or the 50 (though you could manage with only the 35 if you really don't want 2 lenses)
>>3998527Damn, didn't really expect that place to be recognized
It is! We stayed at the (shitty) guesthouse a couple hundred meters away from there, went out one evening for takoyaki, walked at random until we found a stall.
...Didn't expect to get to Tobita Shinchi, that's one hell of a surprise.
>>3998245I didn't take pictures once we entered the premises, I didn't want to get my camera and/or nose broken.
Found some banging takoyaki just outside the district though, that was great
