Talking about subscriber number, I noticed that photohraphy youtubers are a bit different. Rather than starting from zero most of them already have good enough income and tend to do photography centric videos just for fun. They tend to have small subscribers but some of their videos have high view count. Also gearfagging aside, what I commend from fellow photogs is that we tend to be pretty civil compared to hobbies like watch collectors with their brand snobbery or perfume hoarders and their attempt to describe a smell with words.
