>>3493684The meme swirly bokeh effect, pretty unremarkable but not a bad lens otherwise, provided that you don't get a fucked up defective one with misaligned elements. You won't get much of the advertised bokeh on crop sensors, but at the wider end you get bloom that works as a built-in soft focus filter which is nice for portraits. It's very notable with M4/3, probably less so with APS-C.
Pic related is my favorite Helios snapshit. Nowadays I rarely take it out for a spin because I got a 1.8/55 SMC-Takumar which is a better lens in every conceivable way.
