>>3612668Setting up or finding good compositions in macro sizes is pretty difficult. Most of it just relies on the fact that the subject is rarely seen up close. So, the subject becomes an oddity worth looking at, but often times that isn't enough. Which is why, "bug shot #3456567," just can't hold a candle to a good composition. Which is the most frustrating thing about macro photography.
So, far I've seen like 5 macro photos that tell a story or have great composition. 1 was a jumping spider someone on /p/ had a photo of; it was as though the spider was about to go on an adventure into a jungle.
