I have a Nikon D3200 with the kit lens. Every now and then the camera just refuses to take pics. Every now and then it refuses to use flash no matter how dark the room is. Sometimes it also gives me the "lens not attached" error.
All of the above get fixed when I dismount the lens and put it back again. I always have to do this with the camera. Infuriating. What's wrong with it?
I recently got a used Canon EOS D7. First off, is it any good in 2020? Better than the Nikon, right?
It uses some weird huge cards instead of SD cards. Are they obsolete as fuck?
With this camera I have another, even dumber issue. Every now and then I can't get the camera to focus right. The automatic focus is a lot worse than in the Nikon. I'm trying to take a pic a shirt and it focuses on the air every time (pic related): Then, I switch to manual mode. I can't for the life of me see when the image is sharp. I have myopia (bad eyesight) and it might affect it.
