The "multi-image" with massively shallow DOF was produced by using the Brenizer Method (ie Brenizer Effect). And only camera lenses capable of incredibly SHALLOW DOF are capable of generating such incredibly powerful Bokeh. The sample I posted was from the 85mm f/1.2L II lens.
