I rented a 5d mk iv and a 24-70 2.8 for a wedding over the weekend and I loved it, but it was fuckhuge. I usually shoot on a 5d (og) with cheap shit (nifty fifty and a 17-40 L).
Now I'm redpilled on a better camera for myself. I travel a lot and want to shoot really for just myself. I'm a sharpness maniac and am looking at mirroless shit now to make my travels easier.
Anyway, EOS R? The 24-105 looks nice as an all-around. Should I consider Sony? Their stuff is cheaper but I understand the control system is kind of shitty.
TL;DR EOS R or try an A7 variant?
