>>2645203I made a cardboard cutout frame that tapes down onto my lightpad over the negative to hold it flat, alternatively for very curly ones I tape them down directly. I shoot 4 or 9 images per frame depending on what resolution I want to achieve in the stitch. Pic related is how it looks, it's very simple. This is the light pad I use:
