Well, would you look at that! Here comes a person that knows quite a lot about camera optics and both him and the guy you were and still are arguing with, are right. The guy you started arguing with out of nowhere literally posted an entire wall of links to you, links to whole, entire books on physics of light and camera optics and you just went on past that like it never happened, just to mindlessly continue with your baseless and pointless arguments that are both factually and practically wrong, instead of taking your time to actually learn something new and actually valuable for once in your life.
>>4127427Anyhow, as requested, let's not derail the thread; I shoot portraits and fashion+beauty and I use only a snoy and two lenses for everything, yes, only two lenses for everything. I use a Snoy a7IV, Snoy 135mm f1.8 GM and Snoy-Zeiss 55mm f1.8. You basically don't need anything else, just get a 35/50 and a 100/135 lens and you're good to go. If you have a limited budget, you have only one good option and that one option is to go for a 24-105mm f4 lens. I'm thinking of getting strobes and maybe a 24mm to experiment with wider compositions but I'm really not into wide focal lengths - well, I guess it could work for fashion but not for portraits or beauty shots - at least not for me.
Also, pic related is a nice kino photo I took recently or at least I think so.
