>>3880989Calling this camera "good" would probably feel a bit silly - I think anyone would he hard pressed to find a bad camera in this price range. This was my introduction to the EVF experience - I was very sceptical of it, but it proved to be very much fine, especially since there's an option for "fuck battery life, make the finder smooth" which I enjoy because I carry 3 batteries whenevers out shooting, and they are tiny as it is. It's comfortable to use, I find the size just perfect, especially when paired with wither fuji primes or small/adapted manual lenses. I can imagine it being unwieldy with very large lenses, but what are grips for. Having a physical control for so many things feels very good, comparing to my experience with nikons. Programmable buttons and wheels will probably fit any workflow. OVF isn't nearly as big of a deal as I thought it would be, especially since manual focus with it is meh at best for me. I mostly treat it as an eye relief when I'm fine with shooting using AF, which in and of itself is very welcome. Having moving parts in the hybrid viewfinder shouldn't be a big deal at all, but it irks me somehow - maybe it's the luddite in me. The tiny back screen is nifty - you can make it display basically anything you want (though unfortunately not a histogram) and the flip down screen doesn't bother me at all, it's very comfortable when shooting from the hip, and it's ok when shooting from above. I can definitely see it being a hindrance if shooting video though. I think speaking of image quality wouldn't be useful of me - it's the same as any xtrans4 camera and there's many analyses and comparisons available. What I can say however, is that I can lift the shadows a whole lot without getting chroma noise, which I find fantastic. I got it on a bargain, and frankly I'm not sure if I'd get it for the full price. Having said all that, it obviously didn't have the chance to stand the test of time yet, but it's definitely fun to use :D
