Here's what I have now;
DSLR
- Canon EOS 6D
- EF 50mm f/1.8
- Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 VC USD
- Speedlite 430EX II
MILCS
- Canon EOS M
- EF-M 22mm STM
- Speedlite 90EX
Now for my main shooter, the 6D, I'm really getting into paid (casual/freelance) low-light/indoor party photography. So I'm thinking of getting a fast 35mm (f/1.4 or f/2?), something that's wide (because I don't always have much room too in) but nothing too wide that will distort my subjects/clients. The 24-70mm f/2.8 is a great general purpose lens, but I find that even at f/2.8, I still have to boost ISO to 3200 to freeze the action, which is getting too high for my liking. I don't like using the 430EX II, but I do when it's absolutely necessary.
In terms of my EOS M, I'm thinking of getting the EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM for street/touristy stuff. The 22mm f/2 STM is an awesome teeny lens, but I feel like I could do with a more versatile lens.
tl;dr; Which fast 35mm prime for my 6D and should I get the EF-M 11-22mm for my EOS M?
