I'm completely new to photography aside from cell phone camera shit I never bothered with. I'm currently a gun guy and moving overseas for a few years to the Mediterranean (lots more gun laws), so I want a new hobby that is more family friendly for my toddlers and the location in general so I figure photography is something my family can enjoy even after I move back to the US and the area I hear is beautiful and worth taking pictures of.
I want to get a good camera and one or two lenses for scenery and family pictures. I'd like to be able to take 1080p 60fps videos or better as well. I'd like to see what you guys have to recommend. I'm thinking anything under 2 grand for a starting setup. I'm currently looking at Nikon D7500 or D750 new. I also see a used D810 in my area for 1400. What kind of lens(es) would you guys recommend for scenery and generic family pics?
