My point was that shooting medium format doesn't add any magical quality to the photo that makes it better than a snapshot taken on any other format.
I.e., there's no magical Medium Format Look that instantly makes a photo taken on medium format look good. It's just that medium format photos are more often being taken by good photographers. But bad photographers can still use medium format; the photos just don't turn out great. If you think medium format photos just look better, it's probably down to confirmation bias--you forget about the shitty MF photos and remember the good ones, and maybe there's a higher percentage of good ones because good photographers tend more towards MF.
