>>2833771I don't care about her, she's some girl I used to go to high school with that I NEVER spoke to, hit her up on Instagram seeing if she was interested in free portraits, of course she said yes.
And how the hell are your critiques advice for a better photo?
>those horse gumsThat's her full smile, you can't change that. The only thing I could've done, and did, was to tell her to change her expression on her face, for example
>>2833657>rim of glasses over eyesThis was an okay critique because that's something that's easily prevented, but also not choosing that photo also prevents that. Like I said before, I liked the true emotion in the shot.
>that braShe changed her outfit half-way though, so that was prevented, but how does that make it a bad photo if that's her style?
>crusty elbow skinI could've easily spot-corrected it like I did to a huge bruise that was on her arm in most shots, but why would I take the extra time to? It's not going to take the photo from "okay" to "great" just because that minor skin flaw is gone. Also it's not like these photos are going to be printed, or viewed at 100%. They will be viewed at 1000x667 or smaller, making that small of an edit is essentially pointless, except to you who nitpicks.
I'm genuinely curious to see your portraiture work please.
