That's an interesting question. I used to shoot with an 85mm. And I really liked it, but it was a little restricting. Now that I have a zoom I definitely find myself preferring 35-40mm.

If I have to buy a prime lens again, I would buy a 35mm. But I don't see the need to buy prime lenses right now.
