>>3526487The V550 is pretty reasonable for medium format yeah, but shooting medium format is also kinda a lot more expensive than 35mm. Your cost per shot goes up quite a bit, but if you're cool with it then go for it. Medium format is great, so much more detail and tonality
Pic attached is 2 6x6 Velvia slides that I've very hastily stitched together in lightroom. The amount of detail in them is insane. On another slide from the same roll, with a loupe I could see climbers ascending a distant peak and make out quite clearly the colours of their jackets despite them being essentially invisible to the naked eye on the slide.
