Hey /p/,
I've always had a passing interest in photography and just recently got gifted my grandmother's Olympus OM-1 with like 15 different lenses and stuff. I've started getting into it now, obviously I'm still getting the hang of balancing the "Exposure Triangle". I've shot 2 rolls of film in the past week or two just in my spare time. Pretty sure I over exposed all the shots. Which is fine, it's just random scenery and cool nature shots, nothing too important. I just need to learn it.
Anyway, since this is a gear thread I figured I'd just kind of see what you guys think. Old 35mm cameras are really cool I'm, I love this thing. Seems like cameras these days don't even require any photography skills, just tell it which of the three factors that goes into snapping a pic and it balances the the other two for you, turning it into a point and click.
Do you guys use old 35mm cameras anymore? Anyone have any random tips for me?
