I paired it with the AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II . Which would be the 'best' kit lens for this camera , as the AF-P version doesn't work with it, or at least it's listed as "incompatible".
The version I got is pretty sharp and has nice close-up performance too.
