>>3090265>>3090258>>3090037So I have put two rolls (well one and a half) through the X-600. I go to pick them up tomorrow, but here is a mini-review.
The lens that came with it is a mess. Moldy, scratched, dirty, and not even the good one with the mini filter thing like the other anon said.
The camera itself is really stripped down. No exposure compensation even. It has this extremely shitty focus screen, nothing like the awesome split ones on the X-700/500. Not sure I can change it either without breaking focus confirmation. Will have to test it later. The camera is nothing more than an X-370 with focus confirmation slapped on.
The focus confirmation works decently well in good, even light, useless in low/mixed. It gives you a beep, so you could shoot it without actually looking in the viewfinder, but I wouldnt do that for anything critical.
The winder is either worn out, or just a tad bit longer draw than the X-700 messing up my muscle memory. Quite often (one in three or so) I have to flick it all the way to the end a second time to make it shootable.
It is neat and all, but I will probably just end up using my X-700 more often. If it was all I had I wouldn't really complain about it though.
