>>3429256I haven't tried Xtol so far, but D-76, so I can only tell you about the latter from personal experience. I'd say it's worth the price and hassle if you're looking for fine grain. Here's some Foma 400 in D-76, compare it to the shots I posted earlier and judge for yourself. Apparently, Xtol is even better than D-76.
Personally, I don't mind the less fine grain produced by HC-110 and, as I hate mixing powder developers, I prefer the liquid/syrup stuff for convenience.
