I had a chat with one of the most interesting gents I see around here about how he won't be in front of any camera because "it's all Moloch". He gives me a smile when I pass him now, but I'm glad I asked first in his case, but it was just by luck of circumstances I did.
I'd not let it put you off; just don't be a dick if someone says they don't want their photo taking. I know if I asked someone to back off and they started spouting about public areas that they're right, but I'm still probably gonna get arsey back at them.
Honestly a big part of it's probably where you are. Way down South I got a lot more sneers. I've not shot in London yet but am aiming to be there in a few weeks.
