I’ve watched a few of these videos, usually what they mean “film look” is just inaccurate colours and soft lenses/missing focus lol. You can get this “look” with an a7riv if you wanted to, just that since these cameras are old and the older digital a get the more “raw” the tech was, you get that look out of the box. For my 18th birthday back in 2006 I wanted a d70, and my parents got me picrel piece of shit instead. This camera has all of the qualities of “film look” that they claim are cool now, and back then it was considered a mediocre not remarkable at anything camera. Mark my words, in the future they’ll be looking at our current photos and calling it “film like” or “retro” cause it isn’t 8d or whatever. It’s just retards being retards.
